Things are moving a quick pace here at Curation Suite™ and in this post we’ll share a few new features you’ll be using in the next release.
At a high level here’s what’s in this updated release:
- Curation Thumbnails - now you can choose a thumbnail of the exact content your curating
- Image Credit Module - this new module for Curation Suite will look at the content you’ve curated (with images) and provide you with options to give image accreditation.
- Image Uploads - using this feature you can now have images uploaded to your local server
- Raw Add to Post Action Button - This new action button will take whatever you have in the curated content staging area and add it to the post. This is something typically you want to do when curating videos or social updates.
There’s quite a few under the hood updates for stability, content finding, and other related re-factoring but the above features are what most people will notice right away.
One minor point to add. The social media module is now located in a new post area called the Curation Suite Post Actions. This new module will be where you’ll find the social media module, the image credit module, and other future modules based on feature requests.
When Will I See This Update?
We are in the final stages of testing right now.
Once it passes our testing we run it on our live mission critical sites for at least 72 hours. On those sites we ensure everything is stable and we don’t see any quick fix errors.
We will send out an email notice and you should see a notice in WordPress to update when it is released.
